The first Tokyo Metal Night on Tour brings a powerful slice of the Japanese rock and metal scene to Europe. The Lady’s DanceBall features RISKY MELODY alongside MAKI OYAMA & Live Band for an intense night of high-energy live music.
RISKY MELODY is one of Japan’s best-known all-female hard rock and metal bands. Their sound blends heavy, aggressive riffs with catchy melodies, driven by the strong and expressive vocals of frontwoman ALICE. Known for their relentless touring schedule, RISKY MELODY plays more live shows per year than almost any other female rock band in Japan. Their 2015 and 2016 Japan tours were completely sold out. This tour marks their first appearance on European stages.
Joining them is MAKI OYAMA, one of the most respected voices in the Japanese rock scene. She has performed as an album and live guest vocalist for bands such as ALDIOUS, FATE GEAR, and SHO-YA. Her career began with an official tie-up song for the women’s handball team OSAKA LOVVITS, and she has also performed the Japanese national anthem at international handball championships. With numerous album releases and regular appearances across Japanese media, MAKI OYAMA is a well-established name in J-Rock and metal.
